Pasiasto-tropikalne, na lato idealne

Lately it's been pretty rainy here in Poznań. Although it is a good weather for writing (my master's degree paper is still not finished...), I really miss sunny Summer. The best thing I could do in this situation was to bring a little bit of Summer to my nails, so that's exactly what I did =)

As a base colour I used the sunny yellow soak-off gel polish UR SUGAR Yellow Series #A009 from Born Pretty Store:

Jako koloru bazowego użyłam słonecznie żółtego lakieru żelowego typu soak-off UR SUGAR Yellow Series #A009 od Born Pretty Store:

As you can see, it doesn't come in a bottle but in a small 5ml pot, so you need a separate brush to apply it. Now, I didn't have any brush dedicated to gel polishes application, so I used the Clean Pro Flat Mitty brush, and it did a pretty great job, I even thought it was more convenient to use than the brushes attached to nail polish bottles!

After I've already painted my nails, I remembered that I actually had an almost empty bottle of regular clear polish that I didn't throw away in order to use its brush whenever I need it. So I made a little experiment and painted two nail tips - one using the Mitty brush, and the other using the regular nail polish brush. As you can see on the pictures below, there is a big difference in transparency. So if you like more thinner coats of gel - go for the Mitty brush, and if you prefer less coats but a bit thicker - a regular nail polish brush would be a better choice for you.

There is only 1 coat of gel polish on each nail tip.

But let's focus on the nail art!
Ale skupmy się na nail arcie!
